Chen Yingying is a Chinese born Artist, currently based in Beijing, China and Sydney, Australia. In 2008, she graduated from China Central Academy of Fine Arts, and in 2011, completed her master course of Fine Arts in UNSW College of Fine Arts. Most of her motivations and inspirations come form the introspection of current social and political issues. As a vegetarian and Buddhist, she focuses on the relationship among human beings, animals and nature. Her enthusiasm is using artworks to raise awareness of the importance of cultivating a harmonious co-existing relationship between man and nature, to inspire and eventually to change the her audience’s perspectives toward their current living style.
