The reason for my fifth book on art was the insane phenomena that 95% of all artists worldwide exist around the poverty line.

The reason for my fifth book on art was the insane phenomena that 95% of all artists worldwide exist around the poverty line.

Why? Because the value of art is ultimately mostly assessed through the foreign system of capitalism and economy where other values are the rule. There is little incentive for the economy to make art a tangible system.

To be humanly accurate, we shouldn't be able to name art & poverty in the same breath.

Example: The market decides who is a justified artist. I didn't dare call myself an artist until I was around 35 and have done nothing but art. By the way, almost all artists feel this way.

Art always leads us to our most genuine humanity and raises our human potential. In this humanity there is always but a good future.

I wrote The Smart of Art to understand the inherently human tool of art/creativity outside the economic system to start defining a more just value to the arts.

Example: If we knew more about creativity and art, we would know that as a creator one can abide but never submit to a creation of ourselves such as economy or technology. It always and only can lead to self-destruction if we try to submit to a system we created. Nature and humans are the most advanced systems on this planet.

As art is perceived today, it can no longer reveal its properties and true values because its ultimate evaluation is always tied to success, money and fame.

I show the potential and functions of art. I wrote this book to get clarity for myself and the art scene and those who are interested in how art works to ultimately increase its value for generations.

I guarantee, whether artist or audience, that after reading this book you will at least double the perception of their enjoyment of art and/or the satisfaction of your creative process.

Beispiel: Der Markt entscheidet ob wer gerechtfertigter Künstler ist. Ich habe mich nicht getraut, mich Künstler zu nennen, bis ich ungefähr 35 war und nichts anderes als Kunst machte. Fast alle Künstler empfinden dies so.

Kunst/Kreativität helfen immer unser menschliches Potenzial zu heben. Deshalb habe ich mein Buch Die Gunst der Kunst (The Smart of Art) geschrieben, um das inherent menschliche Werkzeug von Kunst/Kreativität außerhalb des Wirtschaftssystems zu verstehen.

Beispiel: Wenn wir mehr über Kreativität und Kunst wissen würden, wüssten wir, dass man sich als Schöpfer niemals von einem selbstgeschaffenen System wie Wirtschaft oder Technologie unterwerfen kann. Es führt immer zu Selbstzerstörung.

Deshalb ist KI (AI) letztendlich nicht mehr als menschliche Gebrechlichkeit auf Steroiden, weil alle Daten von unperfekten, selbstzerstörenden Menschen stammen.

Kunst/Kreativität sind autark, grenzenlos, und daher unser menschliches Potenzial auf Steroiden.

Wie Kunst heute gesehen wird, kann sie nicht mehr von ihren Eigenschaften und wahren Werten offenbaren, da ihre letztendliche Bewertung immer an Erfolg, Geld und Ruhm gebunden ist. Ich zeige das Potenzial und Funktionen der Kunst und wie wenig von diesem angeborenen Werkzeug wir wirklich verstehen. Für die Kunstszene und jene, die sich dafür interessieren wie Kunst funktioniert um ihren Wert zu erhöhen.

I began this book as a creative challenge to paint 300 paintings in three days. I did it and included 274. Everything about this book is about imagination and its process. From creating the 300 paintings to the deciphering and interpretation of each title. During the challenge, my only focus was to be as creative and as fresh as possible with each painting. When it came to giving titles to the paintings, I followed the same process: I used whatever first came to mind. This book is a helpful tool to exercise your imagination and mind. If you are one or ninety-one, you can cover up the title, look at the picture and see what you can come up with, or how many things can you see in one painting. Sometimes looking from all directions helps unveil the image. Or, just look at the picture and enjoy the paintings. In any way, your mind and creative muscle will thank you. I found that spending more time hinders imagination. Using reason, the mind, the intellect, throttles the creative flow and when that creative flow has closed, it takes time for the soul to it open up once again. To open the creative flow, be in the moment, avoid thinking, do not look for results, only allow the newness and freshness of your creative soul to speak. Common wisdom would suggest that the last 50 paintings would be the most simple and boring because you used up all your imagination. Not so, I found that if the mind stays open to be creative for a longer time the better the results are and the more intricate they become.
